Air Intelligence - Planner Assistant improvements
Planner Assistant remains in beta until November 1.
See your past conversations!
[Conversations persist for ~3 months]
Previous conversations now appear in the sidebar, so you can return to an earlier question and continue where you left off. [Conversations will remain available for 90 days from when first initiated. You can also delete any of your own conversations - this is permanent.]
Conversation names are based on what you first asked (not including event name). Hover over a long name to read it in full.
Emails drafted for you inside Planner Assistant conversations
If you ask Planner Assistant to draft an email or other content it'll create this for you and clearly label it "Draft only", with a note confirming that nothing was sent or saved in EventsAir.
Other Planner Assistant improvements
Event changes marked inside conversations
When a conversation moves to a different event, a divider in the chat shows where the change happened, so you can see which event each answer relates to.
Copy charts, rename charts
When you save a copy of someone else's chart or dashboard, the copy's description now records where it came from, for example Copy of user01's report "Monthly Revenue". You can edit or remove this text at any time.
Chart owners and EventsAir administrators can now rename a chart from its header, without asking the assistant. Hover over the title, select the pencil icon, type the new name and click anywhere outside the report panel to save.
Planner Assistant Table Allocation queries
Planner Assistant can now report on function guests, including their table and seat allocations, so you can get quick answers to questions like "who doesn't have a table allocated yet?"
Fixes and updates - Planner Assistant
Dietary requirements information has been updated (it was only showing the "Other" free-text entry, not other dietary options) [Ref: PA-929]
📌 Other improvements
Name badge sorting (bulk printing) - in Express Actions
There are now additional ways to sort name badges (for bulk printing, in Express Actions), including simply by Last Name and First Name, in addition to using fields such as ID, Organization, and/or preferred names.

⚒️ Issues fixed
Accounting Panel
Supplier invoices could be saved without any expense items, which resulted in incorrect profit and loss reporting. [Ref: AE-2305]
Alerts Panel / Reporting Panel [Accommodation Matrix]
On dates with zero inventory, the Accommodation Matrix report didn’t display manually over-allocated bookings. [Ref: PE-1088]
The Accommodation Matrix filter wouldn’t let you search for a new hotel until the current selection was cleared. [Ref: PE-2517]
Attendees Panel
Functions - If a host record was saved after a guest’s function registration was canceled, the canceled guest registration could still be linked to the host record. [Ref: AE-2253]
Custom Fields - If a date entered into a Contact Custom Field was the first day of daylight savings time for that region, the previous day's date was displayed. [Ref: PE-2644]
Communications Panel
When EventStream posts were scheduled through News, Alerts & Posts, images weren't displaying. [Ref: AE-2286]
The event calendar module in Merge Docs wasn’t adding the .ics file as an attachment. [Ref: PE-1116]
The “More Information” Merge Doc set up for View Leads (Exhibition Module in Attendee App) didn’t load for group members of an exhibitor. [Ref: APP-1020] (Also in Attendee App release notes.)
Express Actions Panel
Issue Invoices & Course Bulk Change - For very large events, searching for contacts was very slow. [Ref: AE-2329]
Room Release - If a hotel’s room type was deleted after rooms had been released from it, the hotel wouldn’t load in Room Release. [Ref: PE-2622]
Online Panel
Apps & Portals
Sponsorship Portal App - Sponsorship package amounts didn’t consistently display two decimal places on the new package page, depending on how the value was entered in setup. [Ref: AE-2306]
Interactive (registration) sites
Modern Theme only: Site visitors could still proceed even if they didn't upload a document for a mandatory Document-type Custom Field. [Ref: AE-2323]
OnAir Portal
Updating an image (in the OnAir Portal setup) by browsing for a new file didn’t update the image unless the original image was removed first. [Ref: AE-2310]
Reporting Panel
CE Courses reports could be slow to run, particularly for large events. [Ref: AE-2324]
The “Created” date at the bottom of reports was displayed in UTC+00 instead of the event time zone. [Ref: PE-1086]
Report editor - When rich text labels were resized in the report editor, the text inside them became obscured or invisible. [Ref: PE-2619]
Setup Panel
Presentations module
Streaming channels couldn’t be deleted (the page would load indefinitely). [Ref: AE-2281]
Contact Mapping
The character limit validation message for the name field was always visible while typing, even if the entry was under 100 characters. [Ref: AE-2308]
Functions
If you saved the function setup before the table plan data had finished loading, table plans and chair allocations were sometimes deleted. [Ref: PE-2621]
EventsAir Academy - Rising Star
When a learner account was created with an email address that was already in use, the Rising Star Portal showed a success message instead of an error saying the email address was already taken. [Ref: AE-2275]
