Air Intelligence - Planner Assistant improvements
Planner Assistant remains in beta until the end of November.
Choose up to 3 events to compare; action suggestions with 1 click
Multi-event comparison!
In the event selector, scroll down to see the "Compare events" switch.
Select up to three events to compare.
Follow-up questions stay on the same events until you go back to a single event.
Prompt suggestions are now a clickable button!
When Planner Assistant offers to do something next, such as showing an answer a different way or going deeper into it, you can now click a button to action the request, instead of typing it out.
Refresh your rooms...! (Accommodation updates)
Accommodation Matrix 'latest data' refresh
There’s now a Refresh option on the Accommodation Matrix, so you can quickly see the latest room numbers and availability (without needing to close and open the screen to see new bookings).
Re-calculate when room rates are updated
There’s a new Accommodation preference that helps you update rates if you need to edit an existing hotel booking after the room rate's been changed. When this setting is enabled, any time you manually edit an older booking (after updating the room rate in the Setup Panel), you'll see a prompt asking if you want to apply the updated rate. Quickly jump from event attendees to linked Contact Store records
Linked attendee records now have a banner that takes you directly to the corresponding Contact Store record. The banner shows the Contact Store name and ID, and has a button to copy the ID to your clipboard.
📌 Other improvements
Streamlined process for Custom Branded App ordering
The online form for ordering custom apps has been updated, making it easier to supply all images and information when you order a custom branded Attendee App. [See also Attendee App release notes.)
Brand new branding
In Brand setup, the “AI Settings” tab is now “Air Intelligence”, and the “AI Instructions” heading is now “Air Intelligence Custom Instructions”.

Accounting Panel
Supplier invoices wouldn’t save if an attachment was added. [Ref: PE-2624]
Attendees Panel
Payments
For events in certain time zones, a manually entered was stored based on UTC time, which meant payment reports showed the payment being made on the following day. [Ref: AE-2342]
Visual: payment amounts on the New Payment tab were cut off, and some columns didn’t display correctly on smaller screens. [Ref: AE-2298]
If you edited a payment more than once, the line-item payment amount defaulted to the difference between the current and previous amounts, instead of the current amount. [Ref: PE-2628]
Miscellaneous
If the “Cancel Attendee” action was run several times in quick succession, duplicate cancellations were created, causing inaccurate data in the accounting module. [Ref: AE-2315]
In events with a very large number of contacts and Contact Actions configured, the updated customizable Attendees list caused performance issues and timeouts. [Ref: AE-2373]
Communications Panel
The word “Incomplete” was misspelled in the survey builder Messages tab. [Ref: AE-2356]
In Selected Records, the record selection didn’t refresh immediately when records were unselected. [Refs: AE-2339; AE-2334]
The HTML viewer displayed “undefined” when viewing previously sent marketing emails from the Sent Communications panel or a contact record. [Ref: PE-1076]
Event Dashboard (widgets)
When the browser window was resized, or certain widgets were hidden by system settings, widgets on the Event Dashboard were sometimes deleted without warning. [Ref: PE-2599]
Express Actions Panel
Bulk Create
Bulk Creation wouldn’t run if a non-mandatory document-type Custom Field was left empty. [Ref: PE-2662]
Exhibition Stand Allocation
If an exhibition stand type had checkbox additional charges enabled, it couldn’t be allocated to the floor plan using the Exhibition Stand Allocation Express Action. [Ref: AE-2320]
Duplicate Finder
When two contacts with the same agenda item were merged, the agenda item was added twice on the record but wasn't visible on the contact record. (AE-2364; fixed by AE-2090 in 16.4.6, Aug 17)
Exports
If a text Custom Field on a Presentation contained more than 32,000 characters, Standard Export wouldn’t work correctly. [Ref: AE-2287]
After logging back into EventsAir, Quick Exports created with marketing filters (from the Comprehensive or Standard Export) wouldn’t load correctly from the Event Dashboard widget. [Ref: AE-2314]
If a Quick Export’s name contained special characters (such as a pipe symbol), it wouldn’t download. [Ref: AE-2333]
Import Data
The Data Processing Consent contact field wasn’t updated correctly when using the Import Data tool. [Ref: AE-2336]
Online Panel
Interactive (registration) sites
The “Display Date/Time” setting for concurrent session blocks didn’t save, so the date and time always displayed, even when the setting was disabled. [Ref: AE-2350]
If the URL contained a malformed query segment (such as a double ampersand or a parameter without an equals sign), the registration page wouldn’t load. [Ref: AE-2326]
Modern Theme only: if the "Record Number of Passengers" and "Record Passenger Names" options were disabled, an empty block appeared when selecting a travel sector. [Ref: AE-2328]
Submitting a site in two separate sessions using the same autologin token could create a duplicate attendee record. [Ref: AE-2335]
Organizer App
Even if a Function’s “Check-in via Organizer App” setting was disabled, the Function still appeared in the Organizer App Function Check-in component. [Ref: AE-2106]
Attendee App
If an Attendee App was cloned into an event that didn’t have the same modules enabled as the original event, it sometimes wouldn’t save. [Ref: AE-2345]
Planner Assistant
Conversation history: Opening a link to a conversation that couldn't be found showed an error message that was out of place. [Ref: PA-862]
Setup Panel
Accommodation module
The tooltip showing the maximum available inventory for a date didn’t display when hovering over Group Inventory fields. [Ref: PE-2537]
Event preferences
The EventsAir Pay Gateway Account selection in Event Preferences wouldn’t clear after being saved, and the first available account was re-selected instead. [Ref: AE-2316]
Presentations module
Review criteria couldn’t be deleted if they’d been completed for a Presentation, even after the reviewer or the Presentation was removed. [Ref: AE-2344]
Registration module (cloning) - Discount code restrictions
Registration Discount Code restrictions weren’t included when cloning an event. [Ref: AE-2347]
General
The “Date registered” filter for registration types used dates based on UTC+0:00 time instead of your local time zone, so records appeared unexpectedly in filtered results. [Ref: AE-2318]
Events with a high volume of contacts sometimes wouldn’t delete or archive correctly. [Ref: AE-2325]
Drop-down fields didn’t scroll correctly, so long lists would jump, display blank values, or skip items. [Ref: AE-2297]
