The latest EventsAir release (Version 16.3.7) is due to be rolled out from Monday, March 30 and includes various improvements and resolutions.


🚀 What's new?

New Event – new look!

Our stylish, simplified new event creation screen makes it easier to get started.

  • Modules are streamlined – for faster event creation, and a cleaner set-up panel in your event, only core modules – Registrations, Agenda, Functions, Notes & Marketing - are included by default in new events (including cloned events).

  • CE Courses & Membership modules can now be found under the Modules tab too, if your event type (or connected Contact Store) requires them.

  • This is phase 1 of making it easier to onboard new team members, and get your events set up correctly, right from the start. To help with this, there are 3 new fields: Event format, Delivery type, and estimated number of attendees. For example, you’ll only see options such as Remote Attendee Mode if you’ve selected Hybrid or Virtual delivery.

  • Invoice header editing has been moved to Financial settings.

Event Website (Modern) - Agenda track colors and more

  • The color scheme you’ve created in your Agenda panel can now be shown on your event website! The Agenda website widget now supports session/agenda item colors (track colors were already available). You can toggle the “Use Agenda Colors” switch on in the Agenda website widget settings.

  • More options for cloning and extending
    You can now clone a closed website, and expired websites can be extended.


📌Other improvements

Interactive Sites – phone number validation

To make phone number validation easier to use and more accurate, parentheses ( ) are now allowed in phone fields, and the number of minimum required digits has been increased.

Attendee App improvements & fixes

Improvements – push notifications

  • Improved reliability of push notifications for scheduled communications.

Various issue fixes

  • Alerts, Agenda times, PNG logos with transparency, and incomplete registrations.

Merge Docs

  • Color options in the “Add to Wallet” component weren’t showing. [Ref: PE-1925]

News & Alerts

  • Editing an alert's body text shortly before sending caused push notifications to display the original text. (Editing alerts/messages is now disabled within 5 minutes of the scheduled send time, with explanatory text added to the Queued tab). [Ref: AE-1555]

  • Alert publish times displayed inconsistently when the event time zone was changed, including during daylight saving transitions. [Refs: AE1563, APP-10]

Interactive sites

  • Accommodation - the "Edit booking dates" button wasn't appearing in Classic themed sites. [Ref: AE-1592]

  • Mobile Phone Validation - Minor visual bugs relating to flag/country display and mandatory settings [Refs:AE-1578, AE-1581, AE-1586)

Event website (Modern)

  • Editor access - users with the same email address across different tenants couldn’t access the website editor, and saw: “Error calling API: Bad Request”. [Ref: PE-1908]

  • Agenda/Speakers - Removing a presentation biography caused “No biography available” to display (even if a Contact biography was available). [Ref: PE-1919]

Setup Panel

  • Accommodation module, Room Type setup - For very long date ranges, the Room Type Setup screen displayed multiple scrollbars; the Save and Delete buttons weren’t always visible. [Ref: PE-1909]

Various panels - Filtering (exclusion)

  • ID numbers - When filtering, the “exclusion” option wasn’t available for ID numbers. [Ref: AE-1569]
