Version 16.3.10 - May 11, 2026

The latest EventsAir release (Version 16.3.10) is due to be rolled out from Monday, May 11 and includes various improvements and resolutions.

🚀 What's new?

EventsAir Pay powered by Stripe - surcharges by payment method

Available now as a limited release - will be available soon to all EventsAir Pay with Stripe customers.

You now have the option to add granular-level surcharges on different payment methods when using EventsAir Pay powered by Stripe!

Read more about this feature.

While you can choose to absorb the cost of payment processing (not add a fee, or add a 0% on some payment methods), you may also want to add a surcharge. You could previously add a flat fee to all EventsAir Pay payments. But now, EventsAir Pay powered by Stripe now supports variable surcharges, based on payment method.

Fees are displayed to attendees on the registration site after they choose a payment method, and before they pay.

Surcharges are totally optional and the decision to add or not add a surcharge, and the rate, must be made by you and your organization with a view to any relevant legal or financial implications.

Related updates:

  • New and cloned events default to EventsAir Pay (if available) for e-commerce/online payments. If you're cloning an event with multiple Stripe account options, you'll see a prompt to review your External Connections.

  • One payment gateway per site: i.e. Interactive Sites where EventsAir Pay is enabled will have third-party payment gateways disabled and vice versa. This won't affect existing events unless the site is resaved.

Function guest details - enhanced reporting

Extra fields for Function Guest information — including dietary requirements, mobile number, postal code, email address, title, and position — are now available as data sources in standard and custom reports. Stay tuned for more Function Guest reporting enhancements coming soon!

More options for Modern event website Agenda & Speakers

You can now choose a layout that adds presenter details and images within the Agenda; we've also updated the Speakers display to include courtesy titles (Dr, Professor, etc.)

  • The Agenda website widget now offers a Layout Style setting with two options: Compact (the previous default display) and Detailed. The Detailed layout shows selected speakers (choose up to six) directly in the agenda list, including their names, titles, and profile images.

  • If an agenda session is clicked to open presenter details, Compact layout shows the presenter list minimized with the option to "Expand all"; Detailed layout shows expanded view with option to "Collapse all".

  • Speaker titles (e.g. Doctor, Professor) now display alongside speaker names in the Handouts section of the Speakers website widget.

📌Other improvements

Interactive (registration) sites

  • If your site asks people to enter a URL, addresses starting with "www" are now accepted (i.e. they no longer have to include a protocol prefix such as https://). There's also clearer guidance if an invalid format is entered. [Ref: AE-1597]

  • Accommodation check-in and check-out date fields now default to blank instead of all available accommodation start / end dates, so attendees always manually select dates. Only valid dates can be selected. [Ref: AE-1599]

  • Accommodation booking rate, date, and price headings are now localizable. [Ref: AE-1594]

  • Improved site builder loading time for sites with multiple HTML components. [Ref: AE-1614]

  • Modern theme interactive sites

    • Further design tweaks have been made across various components of the Modern theme sites, especially Functions. [Ref: ISAU-1316]

    • When adding a Background Image to a Brand for use with Modern theme interactive sites, there's now guidance on file size (2MB maximum). [Ref: AE-1629]

    • The Modern theme for Interactive Sites is now available when working in a blank Sandbox event. [Ref: AE-1619]

Organizer App

  • The Organizer App framework has been upgraded to maintain compatibility with the latest iOS, Android and Google Play Store requirements. [Refs: AE-1607, AE-1631]

⚒️ Issues fixed

Global Reporting

Data source wasn't appearing when editing the Global Payment List and Global Banking List reports. [Ref: PE-2023]

Online Panel

Interactive (registration) sites

  • Classic theme - Accommodation check-out date selection showed one day less than the maximum date configured in the site builder. [Ref: AE-1595]

  • Attendee Verification - Site submission failed when a contact's external ID was mapped from a CRM to a non-editable field. [Ref: AE-1570]

  • De-selecting an item with a 'Charge to another contact' status incorrectly removed the paying contact record, preventing canceled amounts from appearing on credit notes in financial integrations. [Ref: AE-1575]

  • If a mandatory field was hidden (using Part Logic) on a visible page, then later updated so the field was visible but the page was hidden, selected items on following pages would be deselected if site visitors returned later. [Ref: AE-1617]

  • The "No Option" selection in the Agenda sessions was automatically unchecked if a site visitor returned via an auto-login token. [Ref: AE-1620]

  • If the Contact component was set to Read-Only, the link buttons on the Thank You page weren't correctly appending the contact ID to the URL. [Ref: AE-1632]

  • On sites with a Sign-In page, Contact custom field checkboxes weren't keeping default checked state if display logic was applied to any contact field. [Ref: AE-1609]

  • Display logic wasn't correctly applied to fields if site was re-visited with an auto-login token. [Ref: AE-1615]

  • Function Discount Code inventory limits weren't enforced if multiple tickets were selected. [Ref: AE-1624]

Event Website (Modern)

  • Some users encountered a 401 error when attempting to open the builder. [Ref: PE-2026]

Agenda website widget

  • Handouts linked to agenda sessions appeared out of sequence compared to the Speakers website widget. [Ref: PE-1814]

  • Subheading font size was inconsistent with other widgets. [Ref: PE-1876]

Sponsors website widget

  • Heading colors failed to update if selected from the color palette (selecting from the color picker worked correctly). [Ref: PE-2030]

  • Font colors failed to update when modified within the website builder. [Ref: PE-2025]

  • Navigating back and forth between sponsor profiles didn't respect the set order if an organization was associated with multiple sponsorship packages. [Ref: PE-1935]

Exhibitors website widget

  • When a contact record had multiple exhibition stands, the exhibitor widget incorrectly displayed the details of the first stand for all items. [Ref: PE-1979]

App Store

OnAIR Portal

  • AIRCast sessions remained in a 'SESSION NOT LIVE' state for attendees even after the host started the broadcast. [Ref: AE-1658]

Meeting Diary

  • Search results for requested meetings paginated inconsistently when filtering for exhibitors with available meeting times. [Ref: AE-1608]

Communications Panel

  • Emails failed to send if attachments contained specific characters in the file name. [Ref: AE-1638]

  • Dragging and dropping images into the HTML component in a Merge Doc (instead of adding them via AirDrive) caused images to be stored in the client database as base64 encoded strings x2 in each email, exceeding the available database storage. [Ref: AE-1628]

Setup Panel

Credit card fee percentages weren't persisting after being saved in Payment Type settings. [Ref: PE-2033]

Webhook updates

If you have a Smart Connector, don’t worry - we’ll manage these for you.
