Version 16.3.3 - Jan-Feb, 2026

Updated this week

The latest EventsAir release (Version 16.3.3) will begin rolling out from Tuesday, January 27 – this will be a phased release, until mid-February.

Because we’re implementing this release in 'waves', the fixes and features listed below will be available to you when your EventsAir environment is updated (Although some of the Modern website features, such as new templates, will be available sooner.)

While we can't give a specific date for each customer’s update, we'll keep you informed as each phase progresses. (If you've seen a banner inside EventsAir linking to these release notes, it means your EventsAir environment is being updated within 2-3 working days.) We’re looking forward to having you experience the benefits of the updates - which may be subtle but are part a wider plan to further speed up and improve performance and reliability.

🚀 What's new?

EventsAir AI-powered Comms Coach – brand information

You can now add brand guidance (such as event type, brand voice and tone) to help the AI-powered Comms Coach generate content that better aligns with your event and audience. This brand guidance can be referenced in HTML-components where a brand is associated, such as in Merge Docs and Interactive sites. [More information in this article.]

Modern Event Websites – new free templates, cloning, Agenda styling updates

  • Three new free templates are available in the Modern event website builder! Note: Premium templates (for purchase and re-use) are listed first, then all free templates in alphabetical order.

  • Modern Event Websites can be cloned (from other events’ Modern Event Websites).

  • Improvements to the Agenda element display on Modern websites including new header styling and navigation controls for desktop and tablet, more polished styling, showing line breaks in Session descriptions, keeping the search and filter visible when scrolling, and wrapping filter names where needed. [Refs: PE-1669; PE-1702; PE-1686; PE-1714; PE-1705]

  • There's also a time format setting in the Agenda element, to allow the selection of either am/pm OR 24-hour time formats.[Ref: PE-1524]

  • Agenda sessions without a time display in the Agenda element (listed at the top, above other sessions). [Ref: PE-1449]

Attendee Verification - (submission of non-visible Contact fields)

  • On interactive (registration) sites with Attendee Verification enabled, once an attendee has been successfully matched via a connected CRM, all Contact component fields on the site (even if not visible) will be saved to their record - either when the site is submitted, or if an incomplete registration is captured, if that feature's enabled.

This allows information to be mapped via the CRM match and brought into the contact record.

NOTE: Applies to Contact fields if Attendee Verification is enabled, only after contact is successfully matched.

January Attendee App release

📌Other improvements

Attendee Verification & Single Sign-On performance

  • Faster Attendee Verification and Attendee SSO performance where a Contact component is included. [Ref: AE-1442]

Apps and portals – performance improvement

  • Much faster loading time when opening apps/portals (to see or edit settings) even if they have a large number of users.

Zoom – SDK update

  • We've updated to a newer version of Zoom SDK for ongoing functionality and compatibility for OnAIR sessions, webinars and meetings that use Zoom.

⚒️ Issues fixed

Application Setup

  • External Connections - Email
Email authentication wasn't working correctly if both OAuth2 and Basic Certification were set up in External Connections for email accounts. NOTE: Basic Certification is being deprecated by Microsoft. [Ref: PE-1770]

Attendees Panel / Communications Panel

  • Niche error
Switching rapidly between panels with shared data (e.g. Send Communications in Comms panel and Communications in Attendees Panel) could potentially result in data (such as email subject) being incorrectly pre-filled. [Ref: PE-1715]

Communications Panel

  • Planned Communications
Planned Communications set to 11pm did not show in the Communications Calendar (Week view) for users. [Ref: PE-1752]

Express Actions Panel

  • Meeting Matching
Meetings weren't being automatically canceled (if not accepted or rejected within 72 hours) even though cancellation emails were sent. [Ref: AE-1405]

Online Panel

  • Apps/Portals (EventsAir app store)

    Exhibition portal
If "Allow booking without stand number" was used, some exhibitors could see Lead Management features even when those features weren't enabled for their stand type. [Ref: AE-1277]

    Reviewer portal
Supporting documents/additional documents weren't showing if the file type was PDF, Image, or Uploaded Document. [Ref: PE-1732]

  • Interactive (registration) sites

    Multiple contact components

If a registration site had more than one Contact component, name and email were not pre-filled after logging in via Attendee Single Sign-On. [Ref: AE-1439]

    Custom Fields
Existing custom field data did not pre-populate when attendees returned to an interactive site via auto login token. [Ref: AE-1383]

    Data privacy – Attendee view
Withdrawing Data Processing Consent incorrectly resulted in a generic error message. (Attendees now see a clear confirmation and are redirected to a thank-you page). [Ref: AE-1448]

    Localization – builder view
Localization categories and words/phrases weren't always sorting in the right order when trying to sort by "Original" (first column). [Ref: AE-1420]

Radio button options – “not visible” fields
Items on an attendee record that were part of a radio group on a registration site, but set to "Not Visible", could prevent an attendee proceeding through the site (after logging back in). [Items with date-dependent visibility worked as expected - only those set to "Not Visible" were impacted.] [REF: AE-895]

    Registration Recovery
Sites with Registration Recovery enabled were able to change a complete record to an incomplete one if the same attendee returned but left again before submitting; contact records in linked events (if a contact store was used) could also be changed from complete to incomplete. [Refs: AE-1423; AE-1427]

Incomplete registrations weren't recorded if the interactive site included a non-visible contact component. [Ref: AE-1428]

Setup Panel

  • Contact Module - Mapping for Attendee Verification
When mapping contact fields, the field names from the connected CRM weren't wrapping (so long field names were cut off, making it harder to manage the setup). [Ref: AE-1424]
