Version 16.1.7 - June 9, 2025

The latest EventsAir release (16.1.7) includes a number of improvements and resolutions to issues, as documented below. This release is due to be rolled out from Monday, June 9.

IMPROVEMENTS

Attendee App accessibility updates

  • Accessibility improvements are ongoing - in this release, modals and logins have been updated.

Payments/Financial

  • New field in Global Contact Locator to Search by Payment ID for EventsAir Pay Transactions. [REF: PE-926]

  • On interactive sites, extended possible expiry years for credit card guarantee and payment (up to 20 years in advance now possible to accommodate some international cards). [REF: AE-846]

Search

  • Attendee names with diacritics/accents couldn't be searched for with standard characters. [REF: PE-930]

Communications

Merge Docs

  • Merge docs cloned from other events retained tag codes which didn't display in 'send communication' [REF: AE-847]

Express Actions

Import data

  • Issues with imports if a custom field name contained a period/full stop [REF: PE-927]

Room release

  • Hotel Notification Email : Validation messages appeared after clicking the 'Send Now' button, even when all fields were filled. [REF: PE-787]

Financials

Rounding on invoices

  • Where both a tax and discount code was on a Registration Type, the amount on the invoice was 1 cent off the amount on the contact record, due to rounding calculations. [REF: PE-937]

Group Allocation Portal

Importing

  • There was no error handling when invalid (outdated inventory amount) spreadsheets were uploaded. [REF: PE-959]

Group Inventory (Accommodation)

  • Accommodation Group Inventory booking saved incorrect number of rooms when there were multiple bookings for same Hotel and Room Type on the same dates. [REF: PE-955]

Online Panel

Attendee App

  • Date localization options were missing from Modern Theme apps. [REF: AE-908]

  • Couldn't update "send from" email address in App setup (e.g. to export notes). [REF: AE-590]

  • Time zone issues in the agenda if event time zone was UTC+ 9.5 hrs. [REF: AE-803]

  • Scrolling and navigation in static content components [REF: AE-568]

Event website - custom domain

  • Top level domain wasn't verifying in Custom Domain [REF: AE-896]

Interactive (registration) site

  • Intermittent issue - some attendees could submit without completing a mandatory custom field of upload document type [REF: AE-790]

  • Function discount codes only worked on the first instance of a Function Fee Type, when input type was 'number' [REF: AE-792]

  • Group registration discount was applied to incorrect group member [REF: AE-793]

  • Curved theme icons weren't aligned on sign-in page [REF: AE-815]

  • No error message when trying to clone interactive site using same name [REF: AE-816]

  • Payment page - adding 'Mark as Paid' option prevented site submission [REF: AE-843]

  • Travel Custom fields didn't populate when using Auto-Login Token [REF: AE-845]

  • "Book Room" button not working when only 1 room left [REF: AE-852]

  • If the "No Inventory Available" label for Accommodation was changed to too many characters, it wouldn't fit on the page [REF: AE-854]

  • If a 'required' field was hidden by logic for certain group members, it was still acting as a mandatory field for them (site wouldn't submit) [REF: AE-855]

  • No error message if a ‘complimentary’ or ‘inclusive’ payment status was attached to an item which also had a tax type of 'included in total amount' (item wouldn't appear correctly in contact record). [REF: AE-856]

  • Registration types which should have been visible for Financial Members weren't displaying. [REF: AE-857]

  • Problems with site progression if there were multiple Function Fee Types with dietary information set to 'required'. [REF: AE-858]

  • Intermittent dropdown selection and display errors when part-logic was applied to Custom Fields. [REF: AE-859]

  • System domains on interactive sites prevented captchas from working [REF: AE-881]

Onsite Portal

  • Express check in settings prevent normal check in. [REF: PE-899]

Presentation Portal

  • If a presenter edited their document and uploaded a different document type, it couldn't be opened in the browser. [REF: PE-918]

Setup Panel

Event preferences

  • Event Logo became "null" if users saved without the image being cached [REF: AE-853]

Financial / Exhibitions module

  • Taxes with type 'percentage added on to full amount' calculated incorrectly on additional items, if the exhibition item had a payment status of inclusive [REF: PE-851]

Accommodation module

  • Sub block room rates not able to be entered [REF: PE-925]; sub block input fields not persisting after navigating to another panel [REF: PE-936]

System emails

  • If a customer was no longer using SendGrid, some system emails (Send notes, Export notes, Scanned contacts - Attendee app; Auto thank you - Exhibitor Portal) were unavailable. [REF: PE-958]
