Version 16.1.5 - April 29, 2025

The latest EventsAir release (16.1.5) includes a number of improvements and resolutions to issues, as documented below. This release is due to be rolled out from Tuesday, April 29.

EventsAir Public API updates - breaking changes are coming on April 30. Please use the Developer Portal to stay up-to-date with changes. If you have a Smart Connector, we'll take care of any updates for you.

IMPROVEMENTS - ATTENDEE APP

This release includes more upgrades to the Modern Theme Attendee App!

  • A new-look Meeting Hub includes tabs for easier use, an icon for exporting contacts, and icons in Attendee Search for actions such as sending a message.

  • "Scan" has been replaced by the "Quick Connect" icon (top left of the app) which will show in any app with both QR Code and Meeting Hub.

  • There's also guidance for what to do when the screen is in a 'blank state' (e.g. no connections have been added).

  • The "Up Next" card will show logged in attendees what's next on their Personal Agenda (My Agenda).

IMPROVEMENTS - GENERAL

Attendee Single Sign-On (Interactive registration site) 

New message appears if attendee attempts to sign into an interactive site with an Attendee SSO sign-on page, if the SSO connection has been switched off: “Single Sign-On is not available at this time. Please contact the event organizer."

Accounting Panel

The Budget feature now prompts users to save changes before closing. [REF: PE-818]

Public API users only - Application Setup

Changes have been made to help users see and manage expiry dates of Client Secret keys, and a “Renew” button is now visible (which will update and save with new expiry date).

Agenda sessions (Change Log)

Unchecking an Agenda item on an attendee’s record (in Agenda sessions) wasn’t updating the Change Log. [REF: AE-441]


Online Panel

Attendee App

  • Check-in button was offset by one day in Modern theme apps. [REFS:AE-567, AU-1273]

  • Live Q&A users on iOS devices sometimes couldn't scroll back to the top of the question list. [REF: AE-569]

  • Agenda dates were varying in Modern theme app if ‘Event Time Zone’ was used, [REF: PQ-935]

  • NOTE: A new version of the Attendee App will be available following this service pack (probably within a day or two, pending Google & Apple approvals and can be downloaded and installed for these fixes to take effect).

Event Info Site portal

Printing the agenda from an Event Info Site would intermittently fail. [REFS:PE-656, PQ-513]

Interactive (registration) sites

Accommodation

  • If the attendee’s browser language was set to a European language that used commas in place of decimal points, accommodation bookings on interactive sites couldn't be completed. A hotfix was made available. [REF: AE-540]

  • The “Edit booking” feature for accommodation bookings was saving changes immediately instead of waiting until the site “Submit” button was selected. [REF: AE-545]

Payment gateways

Some third-party gateways couldn’t process payments correctly. A hotfix was made available. [REF: PE-828]

Setup Panel

Packages

Travel item settings couldn’t be accessed after adding a Travel item to a Package. [REF: PE-824]
