Using the EventsAir Comms Coach (AI-supported writing and editing)

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Built-in AI writing support within HTML components

✍🏻 EventsAir Comms Coach – Any HTML editing components (in merge docs, registration sites, attendee apps etc.) include our AI-powered, event-industry specialized writing and editing assistant.

IMPORTANT: As with all AI tools, you should not rely solely on what's been AI-generated. Always include a process for checking and review by human editors (including translators, legal or medical specialists etc. as required).

You'll be able to see the EventsAir Comms Coach in HTML components in Merge Docs, registration sites, and other apps and portals.

To ask the EventsAir Comms Coach to write something from scratch, select the AI icon (near the top left, in the HTML Editor tool bar) and give instructions, such as "Write an email reminding people to download and launch the Attendee App".

The Comms Coach will insert "dummy' hyperlinks to prompt you to use the actual link insert feature.

You can choose to insert the result (using the "Insert" button), then review and edit as needed.

You can also ask the AI assistant to try again (which will discard the first attempt), or just click "Discard" to close the writing assistant.

You can highlight text that's already been written (either by you, or the Comms Coach) and ask for AI to re-draft (the AI icon), or ask for help to edit, such as by changing the style or tone (the magic wand icon).

Selecting the Accessibility Checker (human figure icon, to the far right in the HTML Editor toolbar) will show you what accessibility improvements may be needed.
