How do I stop error messages when people click on my email links?

EventsAir emails are sent via a platform called SendGrid (also called Twilio SendGrid).

Sometimes, emails don’t send because of a problem at the receiver’s end (such as their inbox is full, or their email server is not working). If this is caused by caching of emails in SendGrid, you can often fix these by clearing your SendGrid cache. Read more in this article.

Very occasionally, a recipient's email security platform will (incorrectly) flag links in emails as security risks. If this is happening with links in your emails, follow the instructions below to disable "click tracking" of your SendGrid emails (for all events).

  • Log in to your SendGrid Dashboard.

  • Navigate to Settings > Tracking in the left sidebar.

  • Find Click Tracking and click the edit icon (pencil).

  • Toggle the Setting State to OFF or Disabled.

  • Click Save to apply the changes"
