Helping you create a Custom Branded Attendee App is an additional service we offer.
You can see more information under the Details tab in the Attendee App builder, under "Custom Branding".
We help you publish your EventsAir Custom Attendee App to the App Store and Google Play Store, however there are also some steps you manage, via an Apple Developer account.
Apple's Licence Agreement update requires your Developer Account Holder to log in (at https://appstoreconnect.apple.com) and approve, before we can publish further updates to your app.
Below are some other questions you may have:
Who's our Apple Dev Account Holder/What's our login email?
If you can't find these, please contact [email protected] for assistance.
Can we change the Account Holder?
Please contact Apple Developer Support:
Or, if you can’t log in to your account:
Can you talk to Apple for us?
Unfortunately not - it's not our account, so for privacy and security reasons, Apple only deals directly with account holders.
Where do I find the Agreements?
Log in tohttps://appstoreconnect.apple.com as the Account Holder.
Apple have moved the Agreements tab, but you can now find everything on the Business tab. You're looking for the "Free Apps Agreement".
Do I also need to approve updates to the "Paid Apps Agreement"?
This is a little tricky, as it seems to vary based on your account type and region. You can test this yourself - after checking the Free Apps agreement is up to date, go to the Apps tab, press the blue "+" button and select "New App". If it gives you an error, you probably need the Paid Apps agreement approved as well.
Does anything else need approving?
Look for any messages at the top of the screen on the Business tab - like the new "Trader" agreement.
What is a "Trader"?
Here, Apple consider a "Trader" to be any app developer selling apps in their store, in Europe. If all your apps are Free Apps (or you do not release apps in Europe), you can say NO to being a Trader. If you DO sell apps in Europe (any app with a price greater than 0.00) then you must say YES. Apple will then have further questions.
How do I keep my Apple Developer account up-to-date?
Great question! 🙂
We recommend you:
check someone is getting emails from your dev account about updates
approve Licence Agreement updates as they happen
process any other requests from Apple
make sure your membership is set to auto-renew each year, and has a valid payment method attached.
Also, if your Account Holder leaves, talk to Apple Developer Support to change it to a new contact at your company.
What about Google?
If you also have a Google Developer account, this must also be kept up-to-date. Google don't ask for approval on every Licence Agreement update (like Apple do), but they have other requirements.
Currently (due to Europe's new DSA, the Digital Services Act) Google are asking developers to verify their identity. These requests are being rolled out and processed in batches. If you haven't pick a date to do this, then Google has assigned you one. You must verify the identity of the account holder by this deadline, or your account will be deleted.
Will Google really delete my account?
Yes. We've seen this happen. Once deleted, an account cannot be recovered; you would need to apply for a new account.
This is all too much! Can we get some help?
Of course. Please contact us via [email protected]
