Helping you create a Branded Attendee App is an additional service we offer.
You can request a custom Branded App for just one event, or an app that covers multiple events. (The information and details, images etc. you need to send us for each of these will vary.)
You can see more information under the Details tab in the Attendee App builder, under "Custom Branding".
We help you publish your EventsAir Custom Attendee App to the App Store and Google Play Store, however there are also some steps you manage, via your own Apple and Google Developer accounts.
You should also CONFIRM with our apps team exactly what's required [because it may include more than what's listed under that tab] and also ensure you submit all the relevant details, images, purchase order, authorization letters etc. at least 4 weeks before your required app launch date.
Apple's Licence Agreement update requires your Apple Developer Account Holder to log in (at https://appstoreconnect.apple.com) and approve, before we can publish further updates to your app.
We also require you to create your own Google Developer Account. See here for more information.
Below are some other questions you may have:
Who is our Developer Account Holder/Can we change who it is?
For anything to do with managing these accounts, please contact:
Apple Developer Support:
Or, if you can’t log in to your account:
Google Developer Support:
While we can manage communication with Apple and Google regarding your app, for anything to do with your developer account, Apple and Google only deals directly with account holders (for privacy and security reasons).

Where do I find the Apple Developer Agreements?
Log in to https://appstoreconnect.apple.com as the Account Holder.
Apple have moved the Agreements tab, but you can now find everything on the Business tab. You're looking for the "Free Apps Agreement".
https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/business
Do I also need to approve updates to the "Paid Apps Agreement"?
This vary based on your account type and region. You can test this yourself - after checking the Free Apps agreement is up to date, go to the Apps tab, press the blue "+" button and select "New App". If it gives you an error, you probably need the Paid Apps agreement approved as well.
Does anything else need approving?
Look for any messages at the top of the screen on the Business tab - like the "Trader" agreement.
Why do I need to fill out "Trader" status for Europe?
If you want your app to be available to attendees in Europe, you must provide extra information to comply with the EU Digital Services Act, namely:
- Your "Trader" status (either "Trader" or "Non-Trader").
If "Trader", then you must complete Contact Information and Verification [via App Store Connect → Business → Digital Services Act → Complete Compliance Requirements.]
Apple consider a "Trader" to be any app developer selling apps in their store, in Europe.
If all your apps are Free Apps (or you do not release apps in Europe), you can say NO to being a Trader. If you DO sell apps in Europe (any app with a price greater than 0.00) then you must say YES, and complete the other steps.
You must also keep your Google Developer Account up-to-date. Google don't ask for approval on every Licence Agreement update (like Apple do), but they have other requirements.
Due Europe's DSA (the Digital Services Act) Google ask developers to verify their identity. If you haven't (or didn't) pick a date to do this, Google assigned you one. You must verify the identity of the account holder by this deadline, or your account will be deleted.
Will Google really delete my account?
Yes. We've seen this happen. Once deleted, an account cannot be recovered; you need to apply for a new account.
How do I keep my Apple and Google Developer accounts up-to-date?
We recommend you:
Check someone is getting emails from your Dev account about updates
Approve Licence Agreement updates as they happen
Process any other requests
Make sure your membership is set to auto-renew each year, and has a valid payment method attached.
Also, if your Account Holder leaves, talk to Apple/Google Developer Support to change it to a new contact at your company.
This is all too much! Can we get some help?
Of course. Reach out to your Account Manager.
