What is the "Event Time Zone" [timezone] used for in the Event Setup?

Event Time Zone records the time zone of where the event will be held.

The Event Time Zone affects a number of aspects of your event, including the following:

  • Planned Communication scheduled dates/times

  • Dates on invoices

  • Dates on payments

  • Dates on journal entries

  • Interactive (registration) site and app/portal open and close times

  • Date registered

  • Travel dates

  • Some reporting dates

  • Agenda item dates & times
