How does the Agenda filter work?

Updated over a week ago

NOTE: This feature is only available in the Modern Event Website Builder, not the Legacy builder.

In the Modern Event Website Builder, you can add a dynamic Agenda element to your event website, that will update when you make changes to your event program (updates may take up to 60 minutes).

If you switch on the "Search" feature in Agenda settings, website users can use text-based search to find an agenda item. The text search will find all or part words in the session title/agenda item name, or presenter/speaker.

Website users can also filter on the following (either separately to the text search, or in combination with it):

  • Tracks

  • Agenda Item Types (session, function, etc)

  • Themes

  • Speaker details

  • Keywords

  • Start time (Morning, Afternoon, or Evening)
    Morning start times are 12am to 11:59am;
    Afternoon start times are 12pm to 4:59pm;
    Evening start times are 5pm to 11:59pm

Inside each category, multiple options can be selected, and all items that match any of the options selected in the category will be shown in the results (e.g. below)

Website visitors can also choose multiple categories, to see results where all selections are true.

The search and filter features will look in all days of the agenda, no matter which day is selected when starting the search. If the results include more than day's items, it will show results one day at a time.
