How do I get access to the Modern Theme sites?
Please make sure you've updated to the latest version of EventsAir. Modern theme will also be available to choose on sites created after September 2025, or in events which had the Attendee Verification feature - talk to our Support team if you need more help.
Are there recommended dimensions for the header and background image?
Absolutely - all the information's in the help articles listed above.
Are external payment gateways still possible with the new layout?
Yes, there haven’t been changes to the functionality as part of the Modern Theme uplift. However, there are some changes coming soon in a separate release regarding EventsAir Pay to make payment processing simpler, so we’ll keep you informed separately on that.
There are also some extra interactive site localization options relating to payments, under the Localization tab.
Can we add more styling to our Modern theme interactive site (e.g. more or less curving on panels)?

Can we get the maximum ticket number input on registration sites to show an error when selecting too many tickets (and not waiting until page is submitted)?
Although the Modern Theme sites uplift didn’t change any functionality, so currently it’ll operate the way it has been, but this is something we’d like to get sorted out. Our Product Team are taking a look at this one.
We only use EventsAir for education (for event management students, Rising Star). Can we see all these new features in EventsAir Academy lessons and Sandbox events?
The existing materials are still correct - these are just added options. Modern theme interactive sites will be available in blank events in Sandbox mode, (and will, in time, be in the Taste of Technology sandbox event). Are your AI features compliant with government requirements?
It’s difficult to say because each government has different rules and they may change. Having said that, we’re happy to work with you to address any information security questions or concerns - please talk to your Account Manager and liaise with our Development and InfoSec teams to establish compliance.
Attendee Assistant
Can I upload a file of information for the Attendee Assistant? (E.g. to include information not in a module?)
At the moment, you can't upload a file so you can just cut and paste the content into Static Content. However, this is on the roadmap - please email [email protected] to add your name to this request!
Can the AI Attendee Assistant access information in your registration record? E.g. When is my next session?
Not yet but it's on the roadmap!
Can the FAQ be just one Static Content component? (Can you put everything into one HTML element [Heading & Text sections all in one HTML element] Or do you need one Heading & one Text section per question?)
The Assistant can pull information from just one OR multiple components. However, bear in mind your attendees will also see what’s written in Static Content components (unless you do something like use white text but that may not be ideal).
If you’re putting all the content into one Static Content component, you may want to have headings in bold and text in normal font, for ease of reading and understanding.
Can we see questions asked to App Attendee Assistant? (To review after the event for improving information provided etc).
You can’t see specific questions but we’re working on a dashboard type feature that’ll show you what kind of questions are asked / how frequently. (The idea is you can see this during your event as well.) We’re hoping to make this available soon.
Can you ask the Assistant a question with a microphone instead of typing?
At the moment you have to type it, but this may also depend on what assistive technology your device has enabled.
If our app has an “Interactive Site” component that links to an external site for an attendance certificate, how do we get the Assistant to direct people there for their certificate?
For both security and resource management, the Attendee Assistant doesn’t link to external sites so it can’t pull information from this component. However, one option would be to use the method demonstrated in the webinar – add information to a Static Content component along the lines of “To get your certificate of attendance, click the [xyz] icon in the app to link to a site where you can download it.”
