🚀 Improvements
Modern Theme only: Notifications, Messages & Meeting Hub all get major uplift!

Messages icon and Notification icon both show in the header and indicate unread messages/notifications!
In the new Messages section (included in Modern Theme apps when Meeting Hub is enabled, no need to add anything else), attendees can switch between All and Unread views, with the newest messages at the top.
The Notifications bell icon is now included in the app header and currently covers Meeting Hub notifications, messages, and alerts, with more to come. As with Messages, attendees can switch between All and Unread notifications.
The new Meeting Hub makes networking beautiful! Improved messaging replaces the old call/live chat features, and attendees can see all meeting-related messages and information all in one place. The settings have been streamlined and re-organized to make them easier to use. The updated Meeting Hub honors all existing settings, and a new Show Titles setting lets you choose whether attendee titles (honorifics/courtesy titles) are displayed.
In the Speakers component settings, "Show Bio Excerpts" has been renamed to "Show Bio Previews", to make it clearer that it only controls what's shown in the speaker list view, not the full speaker details profile.
My Agenda now loads faster for large events with many presentations.
The "Add to My Agenda" and "Remove from My Agenda" star icons have been replaced with new icons. [The icons have labels for "Add to My Agenda" and "Remove from My Agenda"]. This is the first phase of upcoming enhancements to make the Attendee App more consistent with Interactive Site session registrations. See extra information at the end of these release notes.
In the Agenda and My Agenda, the Check-In button now only shows within 30 minutes of the session start time.
⚒️ Issues fixed
Agenda
The Agenda component didn't automatically focus on live agenda items when opened. [Ref: APP-1172]
EventStream Engage
If the automated post date range was set to start in the future, EventStream Engage Leader Boards, automated posts and rankings wouldn't load for attendees. [Ref: AE-2400]
If a custom icon was used for an EventStream Engage goal, the notification message for reaching its personal limit didn't display correctly. [Ref: AE-2422]
Badges were duplicated each time the Badges tab was refreshed. [Ref: AE-2418]
If the app was set to the event time zone, goal availability dates showed the wrong time. [Ref: AE-2419]
Goal visibility times didn't correctly adjust for daylight savings, so they displayed an hour ahead. [Ref: AE-2421]
When configuring goals in the Communications Panel, certain standard icons, such as the "wave" icon, didn't save correctly, so they didn't display in the app. [Ref: AE-2420]
If a goal used a custom icon, the message shown when an attendee reached their personal limit was blank or didn't display correctly, including after scanning a location QR code. [Refs: AE-2422; AE-2423; AE-2424]
In the HTML version of the app, the scan prompt for EventStream Engage and session check-in discarded the entered code if the attendee clicked "Done" instead of pressing Enter. [Ref: AE-2427]
My Agenda
Meeting diary meetings sometimes didn't display in the My Agenda screen. [Ref: APP-1148]
OnAir
Live broadcast sessions set to Vimeo One Time Live Event didn't show the broadcast in the Attendee App or the OnAir Portal. [Vimeo One Time Live Event and Vimeo Recurring Live Event have been combined into Vimeo Live Event, which works for both one-time and recurring broadcasts.] [Ref: AE-2260]
Coming soon - improvements to agenda session display
Along with the new Add/Remove icons for My Agenda described earlier, other changes are being made to how agenda sessions appear in the app.
We recommend you prepare for this by reviewing your session setup, as the app will soon honor the same settings as Interactive Sites do for sessions:
Allow attendees to indicate attendance - Soon, app users will be able to register for a session from within the app, by clicking “Register”. This will also add the session to their My Agenda/Personal Agenda. (Previously, it only did the latter and nothing was saved to their contact record.)
Inventory - App users will only be able to register for a session (and Add to My Agenda) if the session has "Allow attendees to indicate attendance" enabled, and the session is not already at capacity (or has unlimited inventory).
The upcoming changes only apply for sessions, not other agenda types.
You can use Planner Assistant to help you review your session setup:
When sessions have "Allow attendees to indicate attendance" setting enabled? [Or do not have that enabled]
Which of these have Inventory configured?
