THESE ARE ALL ARCHIVED MATERIALS AND WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE FOR A LIMITED TIME. THE ORIGINAL EXERCISES ARE NOT INCLUDED HERE.
To access the new EventsAir Academy, please use the "Learn" button at the top right of EventsAir.
NOTE: These videos were recorded prior to Version 16, so EventsAir looks a little different. The navigation bar is now on the left-hand side (instead of along the bottom of the screen).
In Topic 2, we'll take a look at creating event website, an interactive site where people can submit their details, and an app for attendees.Your practice event already has examples set up, but we'll show you more about how to work with them to give you a better understanding of how easy it is.
Lesson 1: Building and Publishing an Interactive Site
Interactive Sites are basically online registration forms, where you ask your attendees to give information such as their contact details, what type of registration they want, which functions they wish to attend, and their choice of hotel.
You can also ask background questions, collect special requests, process payments online and much more.
The interactive sites you build in EventsAir are optimized for all desktop and mobile devices, making it easy for attendees to register. You can also design the look and feel of your site by setting a "Brand" (in the Set Up panel) and assigning a Theme (in the Styles tab).

NOTE: EventsAir Version 16 is here and if you've already updated, your screen won't look exactly like this video. In the newer version:
The event selection screen (opening screen) is cleaner, and Global Tools are under the Menu button.
The Navigation menu (in an event) is on the left-hand side.
Some tools have now been grouped (e.g. Attendee Action Buttons in the Attendees Panel are now all under the "Actions" button, top right). After a changeover period, all our videos will be updated.
Lesson 2: Building an engaging attendee app
The Attendee App is a central hub of information for your attendees and gives them real-time access to dozens of useful resources, such as Attendee Search, Agenda/My Agenda, Exhibitor/Sponsor/Presenter details, Contact Exchange, Messaging, Alerts, News, and much more. You can easily add your own custom content too, adding useful details such as restaurant listings, local maps, contact phone numbers, and more. You can also use this app to communicate directly with all attendees, or selected attendees.
Best of all, you can build the Attendee App in a short amount of time and publish it instantly in the Apple App Store and Google Play App Store.
Managing Access: Usually, only registered attendees can log in to an event Attendee App. However, you can also make some items in the app available to other people. This can be handy to allow partners, personal assistants, or colleagues to have access to information on the app.

Lesson 3: USING the website builder tool
The Event Website Builder Tool gives you the power to create a single-page or multi-page responsive Event Website to promote your event or meeting. The drag-and-drop workspace is easy to use and includes hundreds of different layout options.
Design Formats
When you first create your Event Website, you choose either Single-Page Format or Multi-Page Format:
Single-Page formats are one long scrolling page, and the navigation links to each section.
Multi-page formats create different pages and sub-pages for each section, and the navigation links to each page/set of sub-pages.
The Navigation Menu is automatically created
Just like in the Interactive Site Builder App, when you add a block from the Agenda, Speakers, Sponsors, or Exhibitor modules, the right information is added to the Event Website. As you do this, each Menu Block or Page/Sub-Page you drag across to the builder will automatically create a navigation link in the Navigation Menu. It's easy, so have fun building your first event website!
