Meeting Matching for Pre-Scheduled One-to-One Meetings
Meeting Matching is the technology in EventsAir to allow attendees and exhibitors to request appointments with each other. There are many variations and approaches you can take when offering Meeting Matching for your event, and it takes some time and focus to design, organize, promote and provide meeting matching options for your attendees and/or exhibitors.
There are several ways you can offer Meeting Matching for your event:
One-Way Attendee Option – this option lets your Attendees request meetings with specific Exhibitors.
One-Way Exhibitor Option – this option lets your Exhibitors request meetings with specific Attendees.
Two-Way Option – this option lets both Attendees and Exhibitors request meetings with each other.
Organizer Managed Meetings – this option does not offer preference requests, and only the organizer will match attendees to exhibitors and schedule their meetings.
Attendee to Attendee Meetings – this option lets attendees search for and request meetings with other attendees.
There are several distinct steps that you will undertake in offering Meeting Matching, and your steps will vary based on the approach and format you choose to offer.
Meeting Matching works in both Live and Virtual modes at the same time, and uses the same process for both types of attendees. All attendees and exhibitors will see their pre-scheduled meetings appear on the OnAIR timeline.
If enabled, attendees can indicate if an exhibitor was a no-show for their pre-scheduled meeting in virtual events.
Note: If an exhibitor has meeting requests with no exhibitors assigned to them, when they log into OnAIR they will receive a warning that they need to assign meetings to a team member.
