This course is designed for venues, AV teams and other personnel tasked with setting up equipment at session locations on behalf of EventsAir clients using the AIRCast Studio functionality found in OnAIR and the Remote Device Management program.
Welcome to the Remote Certification Course
Welcome to the Remote Technician Certification course. As a technician assigned to set up cameras, projectors and audio connections in one or more session rooms, you will be using a tool called Remote Device Manager to make these connections.
You will be setting up PTZ cameras, data projectors and/or LCD panels for use in each session room, and you will connect an audio connection as well.
All of this equipment is remotely controlled by AIRCast Studio, a production tool used in the OnAIR Virtual Event Platform. The OnAIR platform is where virtual attendees log in and view session broadcasts along with other networking and engagement functions.
AIRCast Studio sessions are managed by one or more producers, and the cameras and projectors you set up are controlled remotely by the studio producers.
Once connections are made, your task is to simply keep an eye on equipment during the live event and help troubleshoot any technology issues if they arise.
Once the program is over, you are responsible for carefully packing up and returning all cameras and remote projection devices as required.
